Song Seung Heon - Lost 5kg for He Was Cool

Read an old chitchat of fans here and there, a story about Song Seung Heon during the HeWas Cool filming touching me. I think not many fans know the story...

The story was nice and told me more about my idol. The one I admire and love. I wish to share to Fans, who do love him, let they have chance to know more about him.

He lost more than 5Kg during He Was Cool. It's partly on purpose and partly due to harsh filming condition. First the director wanted him to shed some weight to suit better for a teenager role, so he went on a diet. The weather was also cruel. They filmed He Was Cool during fierce winter but the story supposed to be during fall. So the casts had to wear fall clothes during winter weather. 

At every break times, the casts rushed for blankets and hot water pillows. But Seung Heon did not want to use these warmers. He said the filming condition for Ice Rain was even worse and he wanted to train his body more. There was also a scene where he had to jump into the winter sea, and that day, there was weather report of unusual cold water current. 

Unfortunately, the shooting at the beach took a long time as there were many NGs. The result was Seung Heon had to jump repeatedly into the winter sea for the shooting of that scene. He also had to practice really hard for the fighting scenes, because Song Heon wanted to carry out those fighting scenes by himself instead of using a substitute. He did a great job at it. 

After He Was Cool, many viewed Seong Heon with a different eye. He is no longer just a perfect gentle lover, he is also a great fighter and a very COOL guy.  

I like He Was Cool, lovely story and Song Seung Heon's act well in the movie. But I did never know the story behind, how did they make the movie in fierce winter. I did not imagine how hard actors and actresses have to work.

How do you feel now, he was so cool, wasn't he? Yes, he always is great!

Busy and Facebook is more convenience for dropping some words... so, this blog is very quiet nowadays.
Loving this guy creates more works for me, Facebook, making music videos, slideshow, learning Korean, wow... How greedy I am! But the happiness he devotes to me balances all hard works.

The drama is not growing attractively as Fans expected but we always support him.

A bit sad for the drama's rating which is continually dropped, a bit worry for him too. He will sad, we can sure for that but the drama's story is not attractive at all with slow and no peak points to stretch audiences' feeling. We are not painful enough for his love, his fate... So how...

How do you think when seeing tears raising in his eyes?
Really touch, feel and taste the love and melancholy he was performing.
Scenes were cut from Autumn In My Heart, Summer Scent, East of Eden dramas and Fate movie, which deeply impressed me. The kiss in tears in Autumn In My Heart is the most impressed kiss to tell you how their love and heartbreak suffering.

Song Seung Heon's acting is soooo wonderful although this MV is a small project in 2008.
Lee Yeon Hee and Park Yong Ha act well too, but I love Song Seung Heon, so, just cutting all his scenes.


I love the song in Part 1, with Song Seung Heon's voice, it is sad song even it is rap music. I do not know names of 3 songs because of Korean language. So sorry...

Most of photos and videos uploaded in Korean and Japanese, I can not know meaning of subtitles except for photos themselves. I try to make my MV in English then you all can know what I want to share.

Song Seung Hun - He Was Cool

Song Seung Hun was very cute, cool as the movie's name.
Especially, he was very young as an 18 year old naughty boy compared with his current age - 28 at the year 2004.

A lonely young guy, tough, rough communication but chivalrous with a loving soft heart is what he brought to the main character - Ji Eun Sung.


The fate kiss for an innocent guy who had not ever held any girl's hand.



then, what was the feeling? The glance of eyes and beautiful eyebrows, I wish I can touch these sexy creatures on his face.



The rapid was cute and Eun Sung used him as a towel, hehe... Very cute acting!



The girl's love melt his lonely and pitiable soul. The kiss which sealed his lips and unsealed his heart.



His round eyes ... with full of feeling - so young. Song Seung Hun, I love your eyes, love your perfect acting.



I am not sure why I love the movie too much. Because of the show itself - so nice for teenage or because of Song Seung Hun, but who cares, right.
Seung Hun is wonderful in each character he was.

The movie is a nice show but too sad.
Seung Hun is handsome as ever, he is so good in this kind of romantic and sad love story.
I will watch it again.
