Song Seung Heon - Hightcut Vol.110

This is my favorite Song Seung Heon's pictures this season.
Words fails me! What else can I say for these photo collection?

It seems like he brings the Early Autumn fragrance to us. Too natural, too clean and fresh, and Heon, smart and charming as ever.

Please take every chances for taking pictures, CF, movies or dramas for himself and  his fans's benefits. Fans are more happy when seeing him again regardless on pictures or movies. By taking more activities, he will have more things to be proud of himself for more well-known and for making others happy.

Again, the elegant, charming of a gentlemen are Heon's unique strength. He always looks good in this style.

Jean and Pull Over, a such surprising look for a 37 year old man! Long leg and solid shoulders, I really want to lean on this guy.

Song Seung Heon - A New 19+ Movie consideration

Hot news in September for who is Heon' fans!

Fans are very excited with the news. Up to this day, Heon has confirmed to take the challenging role, and fans, again, seem can't wait for knowing who is the female leading.

A bit strange with these shoots even till the warm and sharp eyes, he may try this appearance for the coming movie, mature, manly and tough but hidden a fragile heart.

Song Seung Heon Considering A New Film Role

Song Seung Heon, who recently played Han Tae Sang the loan shark turned businessman in the drama "When A Man Loves," is considering his next project and this time it's an adult-rated film.
The film,  "Human Addiction," is the story of a war hero and a general. Song Seung Heon is reading the script with the idea of playing the general, a man of principles.
That character's principles will be tested when he falls in love with a woman who is married to one of his men. The film is set in the late 1960s.

The film's director and scriptwriter is Kim Dae Woo, whose screenplays include "An Affair," "The Foul King" and "Untold Scandal." Kim wrote and direct directed "The Servant" and "Forbidden Quest." Common themes in his works are social taboos and he won Best New Director and Best Scriptwriter for "Forbidden Quest."

Song Seung Heon's long career has included playing many types of characters but this would be his first adult-rated film. His career started with the popular drama "Autumn in My Heart," after which he played in the romantic "Summer Scent" with Son Ye Jin.

The actor has said that while he is grateful for his good looks, they have limited him in terms of acting.
"People kept seeing my looks first," said Song, when he was accused of not being a realistic gangster type in "When A Man Loves." "But I think it's up to me to make the effort and take up new challenges."
He tried more masculine roles in "East of Eden," "Fate" and "A Better Tomorrow." Then he returned to sensitive and romantic with the Japanese film version of "Ghost."
At one point he was called the "King of the Melodramas."

"After my discharge from the military, I played some so-called rough male characters because I wanted to change as an actor," said Song. "I wanted to change people's image of me as a gentle and considerate guy and felt some hostility toward the pretty boy image."
And yet he thoroughly enjoyed his first romantic comedy "My Princess" with Kim Tae Hee.
"Previously, I took on characters whose lives were complicated with ups and downs," said Song of his "My Princess" role. "Hae-young was the first role I played that was so rich, bright and cheerful. I felt much lighter while acting the character."

In the same year that he played the seemingly cold-hearted but secretly romantic Han Tae Sang, he filmed the historical film, "The Messenger." He read the script in one sitting and thought the action scenes sounded thrilling.
As to "Human Addiction?" He's considering this new direction in his career.

‘I put myself down for acting’: Song Seung-heon

South Korean actor Song Seung-heon said he couldn’t have achieved dramatic transformation on his latest television series if he hadn’t changed. “I had to put myself down for that.”

The 36-year-old actor received favorable reviews for his performance on the television drama “When a Man Loves” -- which went off the air on June 6 -- playing a cold-hearted loan shark who morphs into a successful businessman for his love.

Making a debut in 1995 as a fashion model, Song gained fame with his handsome face coupled with a muscular body. He worked out hard and quit smoking to stay fit and healthy.

Song realized that the public focus on his looks became an obstacle to his acting career at some point as it stopped viewers from immersing in the story and character.

“I wanted to break away from the controversy over my acting skills. Some said they see Song Seung-heon before the character I played. I dropped the styles and tones I used to have and tried something new this time.”

The veteran actor said he wanted to play a completely different character from his previous obliging roles in melodramas to shed his “pretty boy” image.

Charming and lovely in Ghost 2010...

Gentle and brilliant in Summer Scent...

His iconic dramas such as “Autumn in My Heart” and “Summer Scent” fell into the same genre, allowing him to perform a limited range of emotions.

After a hiatus to fulfill his military service, Song intentionally chose masculine characters to broaden his acting spectrum.

“I was drawn to roles of tough guys who have ambition and loyalty to their friends, but they all seemed to be rough externally yet soft and kind inside. I want to play a character filled with desire,” Song said.

Song Seung Heon - What would you talk to me?

The photo has been posted by a lucky fan who stopped by the Black Smith Sinsa Dong recently, and, how luck the fan was, Song Seung Heon was there!
He sit at the corner, in the familiar black shirt of Tae Sang, showing his arm and graceful head.
In that moment, he was concentrated to his cell phone, checking email? Facebook? Honey Side? or gazing on his look goods himself?
He was be there as for a resting point or for the Autograph Session which will be held on coming 16 Jun?

I had been there twice, sit at the same band, at the other corner, but he was not in at that times!

I imagine how he looks like if I had been there, till in deadly elegant charming look with the refined attitude as I always see on Media?

I imagine what I would do beside taking photo as the lucky fan?
Come to the table and say Hello with a wide smile? Or just standing in front of him and words flying away, waiting for his direct, straight look at me?

I image if i would be in front of him, then what would he response? What he would talk to me beside a polite, warm smile ( I guess he would smile with me for sure!)

I image how warm and soft voice of him? I wonder what language he would communicate with me? I guess, again, English since I believe all my limit Korean will disappear at the moment he looks at me!

Wow, as usual, he inspires me, always.

Lee Jun-ki has announced his next drama project, and it’ll be a thriller for MBC called Two Weeks, which may sound familiar as it’s the drama from the 49 Days, Prosecutor Princess, and My Daughter Seo-young writer that takes place within a two-week time span.
Yay for Lee Jun-ki coming back to television… though I’m a little disappointed that this means he won’t be taking that other project he was considering, 1930s action noir Age of Feeling. Both projects have their merits so it’s not that he’s chosen badly; I just really dug the idea of a period noir set in Shanghai and thought he’d be a great fit for it. (As far as I can tell, Age of Feeling is still in the planning stages and hasn’t secured a broadcaster yet.)

No matter, since it’s Two Weeks he has confirmed, which on paper sounds vaguely like Mandate of Heaven mashed with 24: The hero gets slapped with a false murder charge and learns that he has a daughter with leukemia, and spends the next two weeks in a life-or-death struggle to save himself and the girl. On the upside, thanks to the time period I don’t actually think the contemporary Two Weeks will be just like Mandate (though there are the obvious similarities, of course). And while the time frame doesn’t equate to a real-time scenario like 24, I do think cramming an entire drama of roughly 20 episodes within 14 days makes for an interesting storytelling format. Plus, I just really like Lee Jun-ki and would be happy to watch him on my screen again; he was so great in Arang and the Magistrate and conveyed a sensitivity that I haven’t always felt from him (usually because he tends to push, emotionally, rather than letting moments breathe), and I want to see him keep up that growth.
Two Weeks will be a Wednesday-Thursday drama that’ll follow Queen of the Classroom (which follows gangster melo-romance When A Man Loves). It’ll premiere in Auguest.

Song Seung Heon - All level of emotions of Han Tae San

When A Man Loves - a drama of Song Seung Heon with many conflict ideas.
Many fans share their emotional comments on forums, more negative than positive for Han Tae San's love and the flow of story. Fans complains about Seo Mi Do character, about Shin Se Kyung' act, even complain why Seung Heon attending to this drama.

For me and a lot of others, When A Man Loves is really a must-see drama with a lot of unexpected happens, with Seung Heon's excellent performance.

Heon shows his talent acting as the best so far, since Tae Sang is a very special character with full of conflicts. His insight is very complicated, love and hate, open and quiet, extreme intelligent, thoughtful and yet new and kiddy as a teenager in love.

All level of human emotion has been shown bold, impressed by Heon's face, smile, walk, by any his gesture or moving. Heon's acting is really mature through Tae Sang, so that, sometime we thought we are watching, knowing a real Song Seung Heon in real life, not a Tae Sang of a drama!

The happiness and brilliance of a tired and lonely man, now loves and being love...

 shock of knowing betrayed...

indignation...

  body painful

 heart- broken

The crystal tears coming out from deep sadness melt hearts.

The drama is near to end... we really can not guess what is coming, happy, sad or open ending?
We can't wait for that and yet wish the drama till long and longer.

For who not watching this drama yet, let watch, let Heon leads you go to the love of Tae Sang, to his kiddy and indignation of this sophisticated man.
I know you may have a lot of disagreement with what he did, but  I am sure you will love the man.

Song Seung Heon - My Inspiration

Song Seung Heon always inspires me.
Tracing Heon for many years, I have learned how he loves his fans. His activities for fans is diversificated, from big events like Fan meetings in Japan or new drama introductions in Singapore, Vietnam, to common actions like posting pictures with short notes on Twitter, Facebook ... and specially, recently he launched Honey Side on Apple Aps.

This activity allows fans tracing where he is, listen to his whispers, leave message to him and even, if you are enough luck, you can have his own massage, he - himself - whispering to you!
I do not feel any jealous when one day knowing that 4 of fans did have his messages, but a strong feeling raising in me, how lovely this guy!

How can he manage to do all kind of things? He has his team! YES! Maybe someone posting pictures on Twitter and Facebook, not him. Maybe someone reads or listens to Fans messages as winners first-round selecting, not him. But by the end of the day, the projects are his, HE DOES THINK OF US, and he is the one who makes messages recorded, with his warm and lovely voice!
 ...

Below is pictures he latest posted on his facebook, I love to see his in this way, in normal life, seeing a real angle of my idol, seeing how his laugh, how his naughty, and how his hard work!

How do you feel when seeing this post of today? A not-young-at all man shows his cute, mischievous in front of camera... Yeap, old, but deadly charming!!!

and these 2 pictures cutting from a TV show. He gives me warmness and close feelings so that I thought I was be there, and he made me laugh with his naughty actions...

I like very much his arm... manly and lively...

This, on the filming monitor... He shares us these moments, one of his filming process's.

and here, working but yet somehow looked dreaming, wasn't he?

Who is so elegant and fresh in white and light blue shirt calling for summer ? In a photo shooting...

Seung Heon shares his activities, tries to make close with his fans by any means... and yet he has a tight schedule of a Star! I wonder how he could make all of the works! Thanks for all of that, Seung Heon!

I wish I can do somethings for him as a pay-back to what he delicate to us. Doing things for him is not only my hobby, it is my need.
Anyway, he, himself, in CF, films or real life, always inspires me.

Song Seung Heon - When A Man Loves

For a long time not writing on this page... Busy and yet many things want to do, so...
Anyhow my love to Song Seung Heon does not change, seems growing day by day by the way he treats fans, and treats me.
I have a strong feeling that he knows who i am, knows what I have done for him. I think that is enough for me as a recompense to my love.

Return in a new drama, he shows his charming, strong, drastic with a weak and loving heart inside a strong built body. Many articles talking about the drama, so I will not say more about it. I do wish to share the feeling of my expecting and some photos I love.

Song Seung Heon maintains his youth so well, time seems not leaving hard prints on him. To be frank, I know that he spends a lot of effort to keep his fresh and strong to please his fans, who trace him on each activity, each centimeter square.

This year, he is thinner, a bit. His graceful face looks smaller with this hair style. But I love this style.

...till the graceful, till my heart stops beating when seeing again...

Sexy as ever... even I feel painful with Tae-san's sorrow. The drama producer seems over-uses his body beauty. Anyhow, it serves fans' benefit.

Hope the drama success! Fighting!

Song Seung Heon - Lost 5kg for He Was Cool

Read an old chitchat of fans here and there, a story about Song Seung Heon during the HeWas Cool filming touching me. I think not many fans know the story...

The story was nice and told me more about my idol. The one I admire and love. I wish to share to Fans, who do love him, let they have chance to know more about him.

He lost more than 5Kg during He Was Cool. It's partly on purpose and partly due to harsh filming condition. First the director wanted him to shed some weight to suit better for a teenager role, so he went on a diet. The weather was also cruel. They filmed He Was Cool during fierce winter but the story supposed to be during fall. So the casts had to wear fall clothes during winter weather.
At every break times, the casts rushed for blankets and hot water pillows. But Seung Heon did not want to use these warmers. He said the filming condition for Ice Rain was even worse and he wanted to train his body more. There was also a scene where he had to jump into the winter sea, and that day, there was weather report of unusual cold water current.
Unfortunately, the shooting at the beach took a long time as there were many NGs. The result was Seung Heon had to jump repeatedly into the winter sea for the shooting of that scene. He also had to practice really hard for the fighting scenes, because Song Heon wanted to carry out those fighting scenes by himself instead of using a substitute. He did a great job at it.
After He Was Cool, many viewed Seong Heon with a different eye. He is no longer just a perfect gentle lover, he is also a great fighter and a very COOL guy.

I like He Was Cool, lovely story and Song Seung Heon's act well in the movie. But I did never know the story behind, how did they make the movie in fierce winter. I did not imagine how hard actors and actresses have to work.
How do you feel now, he was so cool, wasn't he? Yes, he always is great!
HE IS always COOL!
