Embracing Imperfection

One more story, it is really thoughtful and help me to rethink of myself.
Thinking of the way I criticize others' mistakes make I feel very shameful. I could make people who are close with me more happiness and more motivated! Anyhow, late is better than never, I will try my best to do like the Dad in the story did.

Read this story and recall if you ever hurt any one ?

When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then.

And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad.

I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school.
I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said. "Baby, I love burned toast."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night, and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said,

"Debbie, your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides-a little burnt toast never hurt anyone! You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook."

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others' faults - and choosing to celebrate each others' differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

Burnt toast should never be a deal breaker. We could extend this to any relationship in fact - as understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!

Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - but into your own!

People will always forget what you do, and they will always forget what you say, but they will never, ever forget the way you make them feel.

Thanks for your time!

A friend sent this story to me, it is so nice and thoughtful.
Hope you like and enjoy the story like I do.

A young man learn what's most important in life from the man next door

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the pa st and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, 'Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday..' Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

'Jack, did you hear me?'

'Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago,' Jack said.

'Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it,' Mom told him.

'I loved that old house he lived in,' Jack said.

'You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life,' she said.

'He's the one who taught me carpentry,' he said. 'I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral,' Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time.
Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.

'What's wrong, Jack?' his Mom asked.

'The box is gone,' he said

'What box?' Mom asked.

'There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,' Jack said.

It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.

'Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him,' Jack said. 'I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom.'

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. 'Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days,' the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the
package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. 'Mr. Harold Belser' it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope.

Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside. 'Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life.' A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.

Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover.

Inside he found these words engraved:

'Jack, Thanks for your time! -Harold Belser.'

'The thing he valued most was...my time'

Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days.

'Why?' Janet, his assistant asked.

'I need some time to spend with my son,' he said.

'Oh, by the way, Janet, thanks for your time!'

'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,'

Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

5. You mean the world to someone.

6. If not for you, someone may not be living.

7. You are special and unique.

8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.

11. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

13 . Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy.

14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

Wonderful San Francisco

Your breath stop for a second while look at the frogg spread to the bridge, hold and cover the bridge in its soft, unreal white cotton arm.

The small path beside the coastal in a light- sun day, sometime it becomes cold with frogg and cold wind from the sea. You need to hold your collar to keep warm and wonder where the sun hidden in just a moment.

San Francisco is beautiful with hills to hills and very special housing and architecture.
The Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard street, Presidio, Alkatraz Island, and more to give you very special experience.

Khi lỡ yêu ai đâu cần lý do
Khi lỡ yêu em tôi đã biết sẽ yêu một mình....

I have started writing a short story about him but not completed yet. Writing is my hobby and the world in my stories as corner of my soul, for hidding away from hard and busy life...

Today is a Gift !

A friend sent me this story which I have read sometime. Anyhow, the feeling it brings to me too original, fresh and very touching.
Sometime on the way of hard life, you forget many things that are very value to you. You hurt your lovers unintentionally with rough words without understanding and empathy.

Thanks Kean Joo for sending this to remind me.

Hope you enjoy like me.

Today is a Gift !

It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room ' s only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.
They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake
. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind ' s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can ' t buy.

'Today is a gift, that is why it is called '
The Present.'

I am back!

One night, stayed late till 4:00am, watching TV since could not sleep... suddenly my heart felt pain, beated heavily. Finally I got better.
Then I found something, one day may be anyone of us, can leave suddenly, no warning, nothing... then you have to leave all belongs to you behind.

Your belongs..., lovers, dreams, desires, either hate, worry or sorrow, all will leave from you.
So then what you can do? Nothing but stay till with no any feeling. Are you afraid of that?
To be frank, I am not afraid. I have done what I need to do for my family, for my lovers, friends and myself, so? It is not a big deal, right?

Just one thing, it sounds funny with someone, but for me, it is value. I wish to see at least one of Bae's fan, not matter what nation she is, as a representative for a group of friends, who I love a lot even just communicated thru mail, chat or blog. These friends delight my heart when it turn down and change me a lot to be me now.

Life is not is easy to make all your dreams come true. For this dream, I will fight hard for it.

Hey, anyhow, I am till survive and happy - just busy and tired.
Doing my best for good things come.

MOM

My friend has just sent this story to me.
It is really touching!

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, 'I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would Love to spend some time with you.'

The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my Mother, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.

That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie. 'What's wrong, are you well,' she asked. My mother is the type of woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news.

'I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you,' I responded 'just the two of us.' She thought about it for a moment, and then said, 'I would like that very much.'

That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I notice d that she, too, seemed to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary. She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel's was. 'I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed,' she said, as she got into the car. 'They can't wait to hear about our meeting.'

We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady.

After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half-way through the entrees, I lifted my eyes and saw Mother sitting there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips.

It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small, she said. Then it's time that you relax and let me return the favor, I responded. During the dinner, w e had an agreeable conversation nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other's life. We talked so much that we missed the movie. As we arrived at her house later, she said, 'I'll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.' I agreed. 'How was your dinner date?' asked my wife when I got home. 'Very nice, much more so than I could have imagined,' I answered.

A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I did not have a chance to do anything for her. Sometime later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place Mother and I had dined. An attached note said: 'I paid this bill in advance. I was not sure that I could be there; but I paid for two plates - one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. 'I love you, son'

At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: 'I love YOU' and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off until some 'other' time.

Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby... somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother, 'normal' is history.

Somebody said you could not love the second child as much as you love the first... somebody doesn't have two or more children.

Somebody said the hardest part of being a mother is labor and delivery...somebody never watched her 'baby' get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten... or on a plane headed for military 'boot camp.'

Somebody said a Mother can stop worrying after her child gets married...somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in- law to a mother's heartstrings.

Somebody said a mother's job is don e when her last child leaves home...somebody never had grandchildren. Somebody said your mother knows you love her, so you do not need to tell her... somebody is not a mother.

Pass this along to all the GREAT 'mothers' in your life and to everyone who ever had a mother.

This is not just about being a mother; it is about appreciating the people in your lives while you have them... no matter whom that person is!

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes...your destiny.

'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'

So many thing to manage to live on this world! How to balance life and your works? How to spend your time effectively and happily? Manything wish to do... This life is so beautiful and variate if we look at what we can enjoy... movies, music, poem, relationship, love...

Sometime, if don't want to say usually I feel very touching when enjoy a good work. These feeling is can not be expressed, too real, too deep... I do not know how to call the feeling name, is it painful, or happy? You feel you are the person in the song, the movie or the novel. Nỗi buồn Còn Lại - Quốc Khanh

A beauful song of Dieu Huong with Quoc Khanh.

Listen to QuocKhanh, not full, not strong and tormenting as Tuan Hung' voice, but intense with gentle, somber perform on his gracful face.

Actor Bae May Appear in His Own Drama

Actor Bae Yong-Joon
By Han Sang-hee
Staff Reporter

Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon is expected to star in a drama tentatively titled ``Dream High,'' which he is co-producing with singer and producer Park Jin-young, according to Bae's company, KeyEast Tuesday.
Dream High will be the first collaboration between KeyEast and Park's JYP Entertainment.
The drama will revolve around the lives of students attending a school for the performing arts and air in early 2010.
It will be a combination of music and acting, and will include scenes of singing and dancing along with a realistic portrayal of the local entertainment business.

JYP Entertainment and KeyEast announced last month that Park will be in charge of music production and choreography, while the screenplay and production will be supervised by Bae.
``Since this is such a huge project between two household names, Bae feels a special attachment to it,'' said a KeyEast representative, adding that ``If there is a suitable role for him, the actor is more than willing to become part of the cast.

''The 37-year-old actor, affectionately called ``Yonsama'' by his Japanese fans, was catapulted to fame as a leading Asian star in 2002 with the drama ``Winter Sonata'' and marked his prominence once more with his role in the blockbuster ``Taewangsasingi'' (The Four Guardian Gods of the King) in 2007.

``Dream High'' will choose a writer this month and officially begin preparations for the production.

New look in Spring!

Dear friends,
Look at YJ in these photos! Gorgeous as ever, I love the way he put on scarfs as in WLS, I love the familiar killer smile.

He is very handsome and special with long hair, but ... I wish to see him in a different look. I am not sure how his new hair style look like...
I wish to see, soonest...

My All - Mariah Carey

One more video from BYJ' fan - Madonoyuki for April Snow with sweet and fabulous voice of Mariah Carey.

Photos remind me the sad movie with BYJ's attractive performance.

Insu's sorrow smelt my heart. BYJ' eyes drive my soul following Insu's steps to his second love.
His tears killed me...

The lyric matches perfectly with the movie. I love song, the movie and I love him, as ever.

My All - Mariah Carey

I am thinking of you in my sleepless solitude tonight
If it's wrong to love you then my heart just won't let me be right
'Cause I've drowned in you and I won't pull through
Without you by my side

I'd give my all to have just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight

Baby can you feel me Imagining I'm looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you're so far like a distant star I'm wishing on tonight

I'd give my all to have Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all your love tonight

I'd give my all to have just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all your love tonight
Give my all for your love tonight

A new year come

Time flies.
With happiness and sorrow, with disapoinment and hope. And you, stay there with time prints on your soul.

Do you till there with the warm in your heart? Do you till keep the wish to see the sunrise with the one you love? Do you remember a favor poem you have ever learned by heart?

Something yes, something no. You have few of yourself before.

On the road of life you gain some and lost some, hope that you not lost what you love most.

Just back one of the place of memory, a place I have loved so much, the place with many sweet and bitter momeries... The river is so nice, the fresh air, the sky...all will release you from hard feeling you are facing with. I love the place so much that I wish to be there at least once a week.

So, go on your life, and reserve time to recharge your soul, give a warm hug to your past, which part of your life even you accept it or not.
Go on, go on ...

Have a happy New year!

April Snow with Shape Of My Heart - Sting

April Snow, the movies deeply touches to my heart with a worsensial love. The more I watch, the more I like the movie.

YJ again, perfect as he always is, I love tears in his eye, my heart feel pain when seeing he cry. The heavy feeling follows me long long time after watching, and my perception about life and love affected deeply.

Lucky, that is a happy ending film.

The video from Megu - BYJ's fan - replays the loving scence of the lovers. YJ with his caress fingers, tenderly look has printed bold in my heart.

Sting with Shaping Your Heart will lead you go to the love.

Shape Of My Heart

He deals the cards as a meditation
and those he plays never suspect
He doesn't play for the money he wins
He doesn't play for the respect

He deals the cards to find the answer
The sacred geometry of chance
The hidden law of probable outcome
The numbers lead a dance

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that's not the shape of my heart

He may play the jack of diamonds
He may lay the queen of spades
He may conceal a king in his hand
While the memory of it fades

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that's not the shape of my heart
That's not the shape, the shape of my heart

And if I told you that I loved you
You'd maybe think there's something wrong
I'm not a man of too many faces
The mask I wear is one

Those who speak know nothing
And find out to their cost
Like those who curse their luck in too many places
And those who fear are lost

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that's not the shape of my heart
That's not the shape of my heart

Macau - Oct 2008 (cont)

Goodbye the casino, we visited the Macau Museum.

The road leading to the Museum is made by rocks and is one of the first road of Macau. This road was built by sailors of trading ships from Portugal to Macau. When you step on each rock, you can feel like touching on the history of the last few hundred years, from very beginning of the city...

I visisted the museum many times and I always had special feeling once I went back. On the hill facing to the sea, we enjoyed fresh air under shadow of lot of old trees. Let the wind fondle your face, feel the fragrance of the sea, sunshine of a beautiful autum day, then you will know how happy you are at the moment...

There are canons direct to the sea....
Part of the old fortress, covered with green moss now... They made paths for tourists but till keep the area for us to see how it was, from that days...

This is the famous church with 3 times get fire. The front was built by marble so still there for us to know that used to be a church. It become one of Macau's symbols.

This was used to be rooms of priests, now it was built as rooms with glass to memorise them. 150 peoples died on the last serious fire...

Must say byebye to the Museum and the church, we returned the rock road where has a traditional bakery with very appealled smell calling you step in the shop.

This is a traditional bakery. The fragrance filled your sense of smell...
I wished to jump out of our bus to taste all of eye-catching cakes showing there.

Ah, this is pork barbecue, a specialtity of Chinenese. It is really nice, go well with beer as snack for chit chat at weekend with your friends or lovers.

The babecue is sold at another shop, where is very famous with Husband and Wife cakes. Husband cake is pure sweet meanwhile Wife cake has both sweet and salt taste. They present for love of husband and wife, has both sweet and salt.
The cakes also have very nice legend talking about love of a rich young lady to a poor guy. She came to help the guy to make him rich as what her family ask for if he want to marry her. She cooked cake and sold. The cake was so nice and became famous so, the guy became rich soon. Then he did marry the girl. That is a happy ending love story.
One more special thing form Macau. You can see the road name sign, it is made by ceramic ! It looks strange and clean. I like them more than the plastic sign with boring white and dark blue colours.

Time flies. 3 days passed in a wink. End a very memorable trip.
Bye Macau and Hongkong.
Then ... back to work!

The nice music leads you far away...

A very nice Japanese song for you.

In fact I dont understand the lyric but the melody and the singer soul touches me.

YJ is so sweet with his glance, his smile in the video. You can see impressed scenes of YJ with his partners in dramas and movies he attended from 1999 to 2007.

Madonoyuki is from Japan, one of Big Fan of YJ, who has made a lot of nice video about YJ. Watching the video you can feel, can touch her love to him. All her works, you can see all from YJ, all of him, his face, his hand, his hair, his body...his happiness and sorrow...

Compare to her love to YJ, my love is a peanut. I can not create a lot of nice works for YJ like her. YJ' family has many good and talent friends who I learn many things from them. I really admire and love them.

Madonoyuki, thank you again for sharing all this works. Please let me share with my friend your nice photos of YJ, share the love to him.

Macau - Oct 2008

So busy that I have not posted something about the trip till now.
I have a relax trip to Macau with a close friend invitation. 3 days with half day for a seminar and 2 days for travel, enjoyed the town with plenty of casino is about half day and 2 nights left.

We really had good time, do nothing, think nothing, just spending the time with love to the life, enjoyed each moment when you till alive, healthy and had chance to share happiness with loving persons.

Chap Lap Kok Hong Kong Airport is perfect with its design, organisation and service. I love the airport, it was graded the Top of 10 best Airport in the world in 2008. We stayed for 5 hours waiting for Turbo Jet to Macau - No tickets to go earlier so just hanging around in the airport... A lot of shops, bookstore, ah, one Starbuck Cafe so we enjoyed spending time there...
We had nothing to rust, we enjoyed any moment there with friends.
The boat was great with nice facility.

The boat was looked from outside.

This, its internal facility. Nice boat, right?

We reached Macau about 6:00pm. Long wait for the bus picking us to dinner.
Our first dinner in Macau was a seafood buffet, quite nice foods, especially sweets and ice creams! Then followed by a special show, Sexy Show... Hah, the girls dance was good, one of them is very good dancer. Fantastic, I enjoyed her performane. The rest was not impressed, like fake, no feeling at all!
The follow day we attended the seminar till 2:00pm. Had a Chineses lunch and went straight to the largest Casino in Asia. Macau is a very nice city. The key business is serve to casinos.
The casino is really huge and beaufiful. You can not complain anything there, design, organisation, hotel, shows, shops, foods...
This is the largest casino in Macau. You can shop and enjoy full day and not cover all the places.
They build hotel, rivers, cities, shopping centers inside the building then made you though you were outside the street. They have a big shopping complex where I did buy a lot of clothes...
See how big the casino.

The casino is huge. We lost in the casino, did not find where the main entrance was.

Look like a street in Europe! A busy street with many shops and food centers. You can see the sky with clouds... enjoy the beautiful weather... It was bout 15 C degrees.

A bit cold so that you need wearing coat... You can see people from everywhere in the world.

How would you feel?

A nice river with handsome guys and charming girls from Ytalia on these boats. Just buying ticket then you can be on board, starting a nice trip along the river in a space was fulled of wonderful sweet Ytalia songs.

Really memorable moment for being there.

They had show with nice Ytalia songs. All created a marvellous space ...

to be continued...
